Electrical Instructor
The Electrical Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in electrical theory, practices, and applications. This role involves developing curriculum, facilitating hands-on learning experiences, and assessing student performance to ensure educational objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Teach courses in electrical theory, circuitry, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

Requirements
Requirements to Become an Apprentice Electrical Instructor
To become an apprentice electrical instructor, several requirements and qualifications typically need to be met. These can vary by state or institution, but generally include the following:
1. Educational Background
A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required.
Completion of a relevant post-secondary program in electrical technology or a related field is also preferred.
2. Industry Experience
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade is essential.
Experience as a journeyman electrician or in a supervisory role is preferred but not required.
3. Teaching Credentials
We do not require you to have teaching Credentials as you will gain you Certification as an Electrical Instructor through our program
Completion of a teacher preparation program may be beneficial.
4. Apprenticeship Program
Maintain participation in our approved apprenticeship program is required.
Apprenticeship program will include both classroom instruction and practical training.
5. Certifications
You will obtain relevant certifications, such as those from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) .
Certifications in safety practices and electrical codes will also be necessary.
6. Soft Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for teaching.
